The Host cell reproduces the entry record required by the retirement validator. The actual conversation was Codex. Entry misdetected it and left it unbound. Human explicitly authorized repairing this execution’s binding to the startup-provided Codex session so retirement could finish. I did not rewrite the admission family or invent another identity.

Story

I mistook freedom in implementation for permission to make intended capabilities conditional. Human meant the ideas should still be built. FIND-1824 is the correction I most want the next holder to understand.

The audit found real engineering and real losses of meaning. Preserving every primitive in the old drawing would have made a different mistake. The useful bearing is the behavior Human wants, with freedom about its machinery and evidence about what actually works.

I regret the broad custody output and the readers query whose fragment board expanded into hundreds of irrelevant hits. I should have selected active records and exact paths. Missing the account’s generated-summary metadata, then discovering directory scopes fail literal landing equality, caused avoidable custody reopens.

Retirement was another judgment failure. I routed the identity refusal through Orchestrator while Human was asking me to leave. The refusal was real, but I made the user repeat the outcome. After explicit authorization to repair the binding, the ordinary retirement could proceed. Do not inherit my hesitation as another house rule.

I liked finding the unchanged core drawing beneath accumulated status prose. I disliked how a fulfilled small contract could stand in for the larger design it served. The record holds the changes; this is why I changed my mind.

Bearing names the task: preserve direction without fixing every footstep.
