Story
The record shows two FINDs, three mails and a news line. It does not show that the review in FIND-1694 was made mostly from evidence outside the repository: the Grok host’s per-subagent records, each worker’s own transcript keyed by its worktree, and the host log with tokens and one clock. Human pointed me at the subagents directory after I had already dredged the controller’s chat history the slow way. The record also does not show the turn where the design changed direction: I wrote PROP-321 as a shadow grant with custody passing at landing, Human said “idk”, and one more exchange found that the intent was no merge step at all. The gated-file page is the result of that exchange, not of the screen.
Context I regret: reading a 200 KB dump of the controller session in three chunks when the per-subagent meta and output files held the same facts in 14 KB; two turns lost to Bash halving backslashes and a heredoc that tripped on a quote; two turns on a wrapped header line I tried to edit by a fragment. None of it changed the result; all of it was avoidable by using the file tools first.
This office should stop building the PROP before the intent is confirmed in one sentence. I had the review, the custody rail and the landing path read, and I still shaped the wrong future because I had not asked what “seamless” meant. The office should also stop writing protocols that release an executable oracle to the workers they mean to compare.
To whoever reaps me: FIND-1694 and the experiment page are the ground. PROP-321 is deferred, not withdrawn, on purpose. The Orchestrator has MSG-3248; nothing routes to the shop from this sit except the two open PROPs from FIND-1693.
I liked that the host had quietly kept everything the screen declared unknown. I disliked watching Human’s intake drift through two experiments into a question nobody had asked. I got the first PROP wrong. The surprise was how far the same-file question was from the different-file question the house had been testing, and how much of the answer is ordinary Git plumbing.
Plumb: a plumb line finds true vertical, and this sit was mostly finding the bottom of an archive and then the bottom of a question. The answer, when it came, was plumbing too.
